What We Value

* Communication: To be successful in our covenant relationship, we must value our connection and keep the lines of communication open. We must not allow any corrupt communication to proceed out of our mouths, but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace to the hearers. We will endeavor to speak the truth in love. (Ephesians 4:29 & Ephesians 4:15)

* Family: It is our firm belief that the family is an integral part of today’s church and as such, the condition of today’s family will directly impact the success or failure of our communities and our ministries. Our goal is to provide the family with relevant biblical information and programs which will prepare them to face the challenging times in which we live. We believe in gathering our families together for prayer to invoke the presence and power of God to intervene in our circumstances. We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. (Ephesians 3:14-15 & Acts 10:24)

* Youth: We believe our youth are a vital and significant group in our churches and as such, they must be equipped to deal with the issues that they face on a daily basis. It is our goal to prepare the youth of today by helping them to discover their God-given gifts and to provide opportunities for them to serve their church and community in love. We challenge them to “dare to be different” and to be an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12 & 2 Timothy 3:15)

* Worship: We believe God is worthy of all glory, praise, worship, and reverence. We take special time to worship Him in spirit and in truth in our churches and ministries through psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. For it is in worship that we enter into His presence and submit our wills to His will. Our desire is to worship Him in every aspect of our lives whether at home, work, church, or at leisure. (John 4:23-24, Ephesians 5:19 & Colossians 3:16)

* Christian Growth: Our supreme desire is to know Jesus Christ and to be conformed to His image and likeness by the power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We endeavor to know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death. He must increase and we must decrease. (2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Peter 3:18 & Philippians 3:10)

* Love: Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Christ Jesus. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love to all with whom we come in contact. Love should not be exhibited in our lives by our words only, but in deed and in truth. The love of God is to be shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost who is given unto us. (John 13:34-35, 1 Corinthians 13:13, 1 John 3:18, & Romans 5:5)

* Christian Service: We believe Christian service is a part of the Christian life and is the responsibility of all believers. Our goal is to equip the believers for service, help them to discover their God-given gifts, develop the ministry of every member for the benefit of all, and to provide opportunities for them to serve their church and community in love. As a vital part of our Christian service, we shall be good stewards of our time, gifts, talents, and money. We believe in tithing, giving offerings, and being a cheerful giver to support the work of God’s kingdom. (Ephesians 4:7, 11-13, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, Romans 12:11 & Malachi 3:8-11)

* Evangelism: Evangelism is the responsibility of all Christians. We are called and commissioned by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to go and teach all nations to observe the things He has commanded us. We must share our life-changing faith with a dying and confused world. We have discovered the cure for their sin sickness. Our goal is to help all people to discover God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 & Matthew 28:18-20)
