History and Purpose

The International Fellowship of Covenant Churches and Ministries (IFCCM) is a divine union of various churches and ministries who are totally committed to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to each other. This organism was birthed by the Lord Jesus Christ in the spirit of Apostle Albert Evans, Jr. to deal with the numerous and diverse spiritual issues that are challenging the Body of Christ in the 21st century. It was also formed as a “gathering place” for those who hunger and thirst for the presence, the power, and the glory of God to be manifested in the earth

In the latter part of the Year 2007, the Lord started speaking to Apostle Evans about forming an organism that epitomizes the unity and fellowship of the early New Testament Church. Hence, the IFCCM was officially formed on January 1, 2008 for all those who hunger and thirst for a greater move of God in these last days. It was formed for those who are not hung up on their titles and positions in the Body of Christ, but yet understand that God has a divine order and purpose for the five-fold ministry gifts.

The Lord has given us a pattern from which to build, form, and shape our modern day churches and ministries. If we want to see the same results as the early Church, we must be built upon the same foundation. “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11) According to Ephesians 2:20, we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets; Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. We understand that our Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church and He is also the stone that the builders rejected. But to experience the manifested glory of God and to witness a mass salvation of souls, supernatural healing, signs and wonders, we need an apostolic and prophetic move of God in our churches and ministries today. We need to release the gifts of the Spirit.

We also endeavor to provide a spiritual covering and ministerial credentials for pastors, churches, and ministries. We seek to build relationships that will be strengthened primarily by the operation of the five-fold ministry gifts. Through open lines of communication, conferences, special services, workshops and seminars, we will be edified, equipped, and matured in our ongoing covenant relationship until we all come in the unity of faith unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Along with providing a spiritual covering or an apostolic oversight, this body is designed to assist various churches and ministries in areas such as evangelism, administration, leadership training, spiritual gifts, spiritual integrity, church planting, and accountability. We endeavor to help ministry leaders and congregations to walk in the divine order of God as they fulfill their God-given missions, visions and mandates.
