Apostle Albert Evans, Jr.

Apostle Albert Evans, Jr. is the Presiding Prelate of the International Fellowship of Covenant Churches and Ministries (IFCCM) which is headquartered at the Community Fellowship Church of Deliverance in Capron, Virginia. He is also the first administrator for the Victorious Fellowship of Covenant Churches in Newport News, VA under the leadership of his spiritual father, Chief Apostle Joseph G. Snead. After serving as a bishop for nine years, he was commissioned as an apostle on January 7, 2012.

Apostle Evans is a retired Air Force veteran who was saved while serving his country. He joined the Greater Love Baptist Church in Austin, Texas where he was ordained as a deacon. He was licensed to preach the gospel on September 28, 1980 and ordained on September 1, 1982. He served in various positions in several churches during his military career and joined the Triumph Pentecostal Church of Deliverance in Newport News, Virginia in April 1987 where he was ordained as an elder. In August of 1992, Apostle Evans and his family answered the call of the Lord to establish the Community Fellowship Church of Deliverance in their hometown. His love for God and his compassion for all people have been the driving forces behind the preaching and teaching of God’s holy word. The ministry is well-balanced, serving the community in many capacities to meet the spiritual and physical needs of all people, especially families and youth. The church’s mission is “Rescuing, Instructing, and Empowering Families to Walk in Righteousness”.

Apostle Evans operates in the apostolic and prophetic anointing of God and has a strong desire to see the people of God walking in their spiritual inheritance. He draws upon the revelation of the Holy Spirit and his many years of ministry experience to present to the Body of Christ the kingdom principles and spiritual truths that will enable the Church to fulfill the Lord’s mandate for the 21st century. He also has a passion for helping men to take their rightful place in the kingdom of God and to live according to the plans and purposes of God at home, in their local church, in the workplace, and in the community.

Apostle Evans has attended the Victory Through the Word Bible Institute in Newport News, Virginia, as well as numerous Christian education seminars, workshops, conferences, and training sessions. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Saint Leo University. However, his most important training has come directly from the Holy Ghost during his life experiences. His revelatory book, “Using the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven”, has been a tremendous blessing to the Body of Christ.

He is married to Elder Elsie G. Evans, the very capable Senior Pastor and Co-Founder of the church. They are extremely family-oriented with four adult children, their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Apostle Evans firmly believes that “all things are now ready” and he is fully determined to “occupy until the Lord comes.”
